Pantochino Teen Theatre has added an additional performance of it's upcoming "Bubble Boy, The Musical" at the MAC (Milford Arts Council) in Downtown Milford. An 8pm performance has been added for Saturday, February 23rd by popular demand.

A couple weekends ago, September 28th, I was fortunate enough to attend the season kick off for the 51st season of Opera Grand Rapids. They had performances from nine local Artist and a surprise from one of the vocally trained members of the office staff, who if you follow our twitter @BWW_Detroit, was featured in a short clip of her performance of 'He's Got the Whole World in His Hands'.

Pantochino Teen Theatre will present the Mel Brooks musical, "Young Frankenstein" for three performances August 10 - 12 at Milford Arts, the MAC on Railroad Avenue in Downtown Milford. The show features thirty local young actors, age 12 to 18 in a production sponsored by the Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation.
Opening week has come and gone at the Stratford Festival and with that, the 2018 season is in full swing. This includes the events and discussions taking place as part of The Forum. One such event is MAKING CLASSIC MUSICALS CONTEMPORARY--A discussion between Director/Choreographer Donna Feore and CBC Radio Host and Globe and Mail music critic Robert Harris, moderated by director and journalist Richard Ouzounian. This in-depth analysis of what makes classic musicals last, how they stay relevant, and the ways in which they can be made to feel more contemporary for audiences today, will take place this Saturday morning at the Studio Theatre.
