The Peace Center announces Peace Voices Songwriters, a new extension of the Peace Voices program. Spearheaded by Greenville's Edwin McCain and songwriter Maia Sharp, the program features a concert series with guest singer-songwriters. It also offers a workshop series for aspiring songwriters, which will culminate in a recorded song.

GRAMMY and Emmy Award winner Harry Connick, Jr., today announces a U.K. show at the iconic London Palladium. Hailed for his live and recorded musical performances, the Tony nominated Broadway male lead brings 'A New Orleans Tricentennial Celebration' tour to the capital on 10 October 2018. The second and final wave of TEEN CHOICE TM 2018 nominees have been announced and music artists Cardi B and Selena Gomez lead with four nominations each. Philadelphia Theatre Company announces the director and full cast for the Pennsylvania premiere of Lynn Nottage's Sweat. This Pulitzer Prize for Drama winner explores Reading Pennsylvania's shrinking industrial economy and shares the fear, tragedy and hopefulness of a community being forced to accept inevitable change. The production will kick-off the first produced season under new Producing Artistic Director Paige Price. Justin Emeka directs a cast filled with local stars and Barrymore Award-winners who have earned extensive theatre, film and television credits. Sweat will run from October 12 to November 4, 2018 at Philadelphia Theatre Company's stage at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre, 480 S. Broad Street.
