Today we are talking to one of Broadway's most remarkable breakout stars to have crossed over into Hollywood with an impressive film career following his superlative work in the Mike Nichols-directed HBO production of Tony Kushner's Pulitzer Prize-winning ANGELS IN AMERICA in 2002, the affable and incredibly talented Patrick Wilson. 'Tis the season to be jolly as the Glee cast releases Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album Vol. 3, available Tuesday, December 11.The album features timeless holiday classics, including "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," "White Christmas," and "Jingle Bell Rock." Six of the tracks recorded will be included on the holiday themed episode of Glee, which airs Thursday, December 13, at 9:00 PM ET/PT on FOX. Two time Academy Award & Emmy Winner Jessica Lange presented the International Emmy Founders Award to Ryan Murphy, the creator, writer and director of television shows Glee , American Horror Story and Nip/Tuck. FX has ordered the next book of the award-winning miniseries AMERICAN HORROR STORY, picking up 13 hours of a new miniseries from Twentieth Century Fox Television, it was announced today by John Landgraf, President and General Manager of FX Networks. Production of the untitled AHS will begin next summer and premiere in the fall of 2013.

Now, a cable network insider tells us exclusively that the film will instead be an HBO television production, with a budget in the neighborhood of $15 million dollars. There is no word yet on a timeline for the project, or if the announced starry cast are staying aboard the project.

The results are in! And, last night, after a month-long hiatus, GLEE came speeding back to the small screen with the spiffy and spunky new episode, "The Role You Were Born To Play" - a Michael Hitchcock-written, Brad Falchuk-directed entry to Fox's hit musical series centering on the auditions for this year's McKinley High musical - none other than the campy 50s musical comedy GREASE! And, indeed, GREASE is the word - and, furthermore, the musical GLEE was born to do.

Ryan Murphy, creator of such television shows as Glee, American Horror Story, and The New Normal, is hard at work on bringing the Tony-winning play The Normal Heart to the big screen. He told the Hollywood Reporter: 'It scares me because I came of age sexually in the early 1980s, and I lost so many friends, and so it means a lot to me. I really want young people to know what it used to be like and how that disease is still with us in a very deadly, horrible way.'

GLEE went under a bit of an alteration this season - splitting its time between the McKinley kids and the club, and following its graduates across the country, including Rachel's collegiate career at NYADA, and Kurt's big move to Manhattan. The show has introduced new characters, and all but said goodbye to the old - and in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, series creator Ryan Murphy, was candid when it came to show's inevitable end.

Although he wont be reprising his original role, AMERICAN HORROR STORY Season 1 vet, Dylan McDermott, is set to return to the series as a guest star in the upcoming ASYLUM season. AMERICAN HORROR STORY returns tonight at 10:00 PM on FX.

ABC4.com reports that GLEE writer and creator Ryan Murphy offered superstar Better Midler a guest starring role on the FOX musical drama. He later tweeted, 'Bette said yes! Amazing. I am plotting... who should she play?'
