FX, basic cable's leader for scripted programming in the fall season, has set its fall schedule with the return of six original series in September and October.

GLEE gave fans a treat on the show's Facebook page with a poster featuring Jane Lynch and Darren Criss reminding viewers that just 13 days remain until the Season 4 premiere. Check it out below! A gay gallimaufry, Ryan Murphy and Ali Adler's new NBC half-hour comedy THE NEW NORMAL more than merely delivers on the premise of a meta-MODERN FAMILY complete with all the requisite Murphy touches - and much, much more. After all, Murphy is the man behind POPULAR and GLEE, two of the most genre-bending and outrageous TV comedies of the 21st century (in addition to the just 17-time nominated new FX horror series AMERICAN HORROR STORY), so THE NEW NORMAL provides him with a mainstream, mainstage, network series in which he can explore the lighter side of life while also imparting a serious, progressive and all-too-apropos message along the way: A family is a family is a family. Gay, straight or otherwise, a family is founded upon love and only love as its basis and the overriding theme of the series is exactly that. While this all may sound a bit ooey gooey and pat, it is anything but in its style, presentation and attitude.

The station, which also gave a thumbs down to last year's controversial series 'The Playboy Club,' told the Salt Lake Tribune that they were not comfortable with the show's content. The comedy, from Glee creator Ryan Murphy, tells the story of a gay couple who relies on a surrogate to have a baby.

Happy Birthday, Andrew Rannells! Rannells played Bob Gaudio in the First National Tour of Jersey Boys. In January 2009, he reprised the role of Gaudio in the musical's Broadway production. Rannells originated the role of Elder Price in The Book of Mormon, a musical written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and Avenue Q composer Robert Lopez. For his performance, he was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical. His last performance was June 10, 2012. He will soon play Bryan Buckley in Ryan Murphy's new television series The New Normal on NBC.
