by BWW News Desk - Nov 14, 2010

Fountain Hills Community Theater is proud to announce the opening of the spine-chilling play The Haunting of Hill House. The Haunting of Hill House is a study in mounting terror in which a small group of 'psychically receptive' people are brought together in Hill House, a brooding Victorian mansion known as a place of evil and 'contained ill will.' Led by the learned Dr. Montague, who is conducting research in paranormal phenomena, the visitors have come to probe the secrets of the old house and to draw forth the mysterious powers that it is alleged to possess-powers which have brought madness and death to those who have lived therein in the past.

by BWW News Desk - Aug 27, 2010

FHCT Youth Theater is proud to announce the opening production of their 2010-2011 Season, '45 Minutes From Broadway.' '45 Minutes from Broadway,' as adapted by June Walker Rogers, features the irresistible excitement of George M. Cohan's music. 'Let's do a musical!' is the cry from the members of the school's drama club. The problem is which one? This dilemma is solved by the appearance of an old theatrical trunk filled with the memorabilia of early show-business days. These include some George M. Cohan props, his derby straw hat and cane and a script of 45 Minutes from Broadway. Miss Templeton, the teacher, and Jason, the student director, guide the cast through the auditions, casting and presentation of the old Cohan musical. This is an example of a show within a show, complete with such rousing George M. Cohan numbers as 'I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy,' 'Give My Regards to Broadway,' and 'You're a Grand Old Flag.'
