The public can view rare music memorabilia and pick up tips on preserving their own family history during an upcoming Great American Songbook Foundation special event.

Ensemble Theatre Company (ETC) presents the fifth and final show of its 2021-2022 Season, one of the most iconic and celebrated thrillers ever written, SLEUTH, by Anthony Shaffer and directed by Jenny Sullivan. SLEUTH begins previews on Thursday, June 9 at 7:30pm, opens on Saturday, June 11 at 8:00pm and runs through Sunday, June 26, 2022 at The New Vic, 33 W. Victoria Street in Santa Barbara. 

The Off-Broadway production of Romeo & Bernadette: A Musical Tale of Verona and Brooklyn, with book and lyrics by Mark Saltzman, music adapted from classic Italian melodies, directed and choreographed by Justin Ross Cohen, and starring the original cast,  officially opened on Monday, May 16 at Theater 555 (555 West 42nd Street - between 10th and 11th Avenues).

Performances of Romeo & Bernadette: A Musical Tale of Verona began May 3, 2022, for a limited engagement through Sunday afternoon, June 26, 2022, at 3:00PM. Opening Night is TONIGHT, Monday, May 16, 2022, at 7:00PM.

Music Theatre of Connecticut, Fairfield County's professional award-winning theatre company celebrates the conclusion of its 35th Season with This Is The Moment: MTC's 35th Anniversary Gala. This celebratory night will feature performances by actors seen on the MTC stage, singing audience-favorite songs.

The Birdland Jazz Club and Theater has released their programming from March 28th through April 10th. Artists appearing at Birdland Jazz Club include Emmet’s Place: Emmet Cohen Trio Featuring Special Guests, Ed Neumeister’s Assembláge Jazz Orchestra, Ravi Coltrane Quartet, and John Minnock with Dave Liebman.

Nelson Riddle, the legendary arranger/orchestrator/composer is largely responsible for what we think of as the sound of The Great American Songbook. His arrangements and orchestrations for artists like Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Nat King Cole Dean Martin, Judy Garland, Johnny Mathis, Rosemary Clooney, and Doris Day, created for the Capitol label defined the sound of the 40s, 50s, and 60s. He is responsible for resuscitating Sinatra’s career and turning him into the legend he became. Riddle is the creator of the “Rat Pack” sound, composing scores for Robin and the Seven Hoods and Ocean’s 11 among dozens of other films. He won an Oscar for the score of 1974’s The Great Gatsby in addition to 3 Grammy awards, two of them for his album collaborations with Linda Ronstadt that revived his extraordinary career shortly before his death in 1985. It’s hard to overestimate his importance to American popular music.

2019 MAC Hanson Award recipient Teresa Fischer and recent NY Independent Theater Award winner Mary Sheridan come back to the cabaret stage with an evening of musical delights. 

For the tenth year in a row, Jim Caruso & Billy Stritch return to Bemelmans Bar at The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel with their evening of swinging standards on Sundays, March 13, 20, 27, May 1, 22 and 29, from 9pm to midnight.  Bassist Steve Doyle will once again join the duo. 

Dallas legend Patrick Duffy (The Man from Atlantis; Step by Step) and Linda Purl (Happy Days; Homeland) fly in from Hollywood to star alongside Gray O' Brien (Peak Practice; Coronation Street), leading the cast in this exciting new production of the classic Broadway thriller.
