Educational Theatre Association has revealed the most popular high school shows for 2023. 

The Lyceum Theatre, part of Ambassadors Theatre Group, today announces a partnership with picturepath. The visual timeline app will support people with additional needs, such as autism, to experience Disney’s The Lion King.

The Lion King will welcome Donovan Louis Bazemore and Davis Matthews alternating as “Young Simba” beginning Tuesday, June 6. Learn how to purchase tickets to The Lion King!

Disney Theatrical Productions and Proctors has announced that tickets for the long-awaited return engagement of Disney's The Lion King will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 30.

The American Theatre Guild is thrilled to present the Toledo engagement of Disney’s The Lion King as a part of the 22–23 BROADWAY IN TOLEDO SERIES. Toledo’s most eagerly awaited stage production ever will leap onto the Stranahan Theater stage from Wednesday, April 19 to Sunday, May 7. The press opening night is Thursday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. 

The award-winning West End production of Disney’s THE LION KING will welcome Owen Chaponda (Back to the Future; The Colour Purple) and Merryl Ansah (Heathers; Crazy for You), who will step into the iconic roles of ‘Simba’ and ‘Nala’, this spring.

Tickets for the long-awaited return engagement of Disney's THE LION KING will go on sale to the public on Monday, February 13th at 10:30am. Tulsa's most eagerly awaited return will once again leap onto the Tulsa PAC stage on Thursday, June 1st for a limited engagement of three weeks through Saturday, June 17th.

Disney Theatrical Productions and Overture Center for the Arts announced that tickets for the long-awaited return engagement of Disney's The Lion King will go on sale to the public on Friday, Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. Madison's most eagerly awaited return will once again leap onto the Overture Hall stage on Thursday, May 11 for a limited engagement of three weeks through Sunday, May 28.

From the moment Rafiki (Gugwana Dlamini) Shaman of the Pride Lands, heralded her recognizably famous opening note, the audience was uproarious.  Even as long as it’s been around, THE LION KING is still a wonder to behold.

The UK and Ireland Tour of Disney's The Lion King will welcome 12 new members to its cast of over 50 actors, singers and dancers this winter. The award winning landmark musical is currently playing a season at Manchester Palace until 11 March, where over 300,000 people will experience the show during the only North West dates.

The Entertainment Community Fund will be the lead seller of a select number of tickets to the upcoming 25th anniversary celebration of The Lion King on Broadway. Now, audiences will have the opportunity to be part of the celebration as this musical theater phenomenon marks its 25 years on Broadway at this special anniversary performance.

The Salt Lake City premiere of Disney’s The Lion King opened on Friday, September 30 at 7:30pm at the Eccles Theater for a limited engagement of 4 weeks through Sunday, October 23.  In Salt Lake City, The Lion King will play Tuesdays through Thursdays at 7:30pm, Thursday, Sept. 29 and Thursday, Oct. 20 at 2pm, Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 2:00pm and 8:00pm and Sundays at 1:00pm and 6:30pm.
