FROZEN Announces $30 Digital Lottery Tickets

The Arendelle sisters are on their way to Broadway with Disney's FROZEN starting previews next week, February 22. According to The Hollywood Reporter, producers have just announced that the show will offer a digital lottery for $30 tickets to every performance.

BOOK OF MORMON Adds New Preview Performance With All Seats At $20

An additional preview was announced today for the upcoming Sydney production of The Book of Mormon, on Tuesday 27 February at 7pm at the Sydney Lyric Theatre. This will be the first chance for fans to see the much-anticipated Broadway smash hit in Sydney. All tickets for this special preview will cost only $20.00 and go on sale at 9am on Monday 19 February.

Adjudication in the 2018 Kleban Prize for the most promising musical theatre lyricist category resulted in a tie between Alan Schmuckler and Amanda Yesnowitz, and the 2018 Kleban Prize for the most promising musical theatre librettist has been awarded to Christian Duhamel.

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards® including Best Musical, has broken the house record in Portland for the week ending January 28, 2018 at Keller Auditorium grossing $1,703,226 for a standard 8-performance week as part of the U.S. Bank Broadway in Portland series.

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins February 6 at the SHN Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco and plays a limited four-week engagement through March 4. In San Francisco, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the box office, making a limited number of tickets available at $25 apiece.

Just this evening at BroadwayCon in midtown Manhattan, the Oscar-winning songwriting team behind Frozen – and newly-Oscar-nominated for Best Original Song for “Remember Me” from Coco – Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez announced that four brand new songs written for the Broadway musical will be released on consecutive Fridays beginning February 23, 2018, the day after Frozen's first Broadway performance at the historic St. James Theatre.

Women's Day on Broadway: Celebrating Stories, By, For, and About Women, is a symposium that will take place at The St. James Theatre. There will also be a special performance of Frozen to benefit The Actors Fund and its Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative. The events aim to highlight the importance of a continued investment in the encouragement and mentorship that is crucial to establishing and maintaining gender equality in the Broadway community.
