Founded by Alvin Ailey and Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey in 1989, this innovative full-scholarship day camp for middle school students uses dance as a vehicle for developing self-esteem, self-discipline, creative expression, and critical-thinking skills.

New York City Center President & CEO Arlene Shuler today announced a full calendar of programming for the 2021 - 2022 season, reopening the landmark theater to the public in October 2021. Ballet Hispánico is partnering with DOROT, a New York City-based nonprofit organization creating social connections for older adults, to present a virtual performance and artistic talkback with Rodney Hamilton, Michelle Manzanales, and Melissa Verdecia on Thursday, May 13, 2021 and two virtual movement workshops on Thursdays May 20 and 27, 2021.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts today announced the official public opening of Restart Stages—a new outdoor performing arts center constructed on the Lincoln Center campus—welcoming audiences to reimagined community spaces and new outdoor venues, with dozens of free events and surprise Pop-Up performances in music, dance, drama, and more.

Milton is an original production and biography in motion created and directed by Kaylin Horgan and set to the original score of local pop artists;Treble NLS and Brittney Chantele. Premiering April 8th at 8 pm followed by two more showings on April 9th at 11 am and 8pm at the New Hazlett Theater in Pittsburgh, PA.

Ballet Hispánico is continuing its Community Arts Partnerships with a free virtual Latin Social Dance Class in partnership with Penn State, on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 7:30pm ET. Held over Zoom, the class will be an extension of the Ballet Hispánico 50th Legacy Experience.
