Studio Theatre's BAYWAY ARTS CENTER will welcome Broadway performer, Angie Schworer, as its guest of honor at their July 9th official opening Gala and ribbon cutting ceremony. The evening will also feature the L.I. Regional Theatre 'Premiere' of the Broadway musical CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, of which Ms. Schworer was an original cast member.

Studio Theatre has announced that Rick Grossman has joined its management team as Executive Artistic Director for the Bay Way Arts Center. 'We are very much looking forward to this collaborative effort and having Rick as part of our team as we expand our base of operations', said Michael Blangiforti, Managing Director of Studio Theatre.

You're probably thinking, doesn't the Long Island venue have a rather intimate stage? They do. Do they deliver superbly? That is a resounding yes.

They hop aboard a battered old bus (nicknamed Priscilla) searching for love and friendship and end up finding more than they ever could have ever dreamed of.

The Pink Ladies and the Burger Palace Boys have claimed their turf at the Noel S. Ruiz Theatre in Oakdale through May 7 in a delightfully nostalgic production of "Grease."
