Single tickets to all productions in the 2018-2019 Children's Theatre of Cincinnati MainStage season at the Taft Theatre are available starting TODAY, Wednesday, August 22.

Walt Disney Records is set to release Disney's Christopher Robin Original Motion Picture digital soundtrack on August 3. The score features music by Emmy Award-winning Geoff Zanelli ("Into the West," "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales") and Grammy-nominated composer Jon Brion ("Lady Bird," "Trainwreck"). Disney's "Christopher Robin" is in theaters nationwide also on August 3.

An abandoned sporting goods store in the San Fernando Valley is not where you'd expect to soar with Dumbo The Flying Elephant or snap a photo alongside a 40 foot sea serpent, but Van Eaton Galleries -- the world's premiere auction house specializing in Disneyland memorabilia and original animation -- has created "That's From Disneyland!", a 20,000 square foot pop-up exhibit that offers the public a once in-a-lifetime opportunity to get up-close with pieces of the Disney Parks in an entirely new way.

P. L. Travers Mary Poppins magical nanny character was first published in 1934 and resulted in a series of eight children's books that ended in 1988. MARY POPPINS is a stage musical that uses the most iconic songs of the Sherman Brothers, with additional music and lyrics by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, and a script by Julian Fellowes. The musical is a hybrid of Travers children's books and the 1964 Disney film, which fuses various elements from the two. I have some serious issues with the script, which I intend to discuss, but director Ron Watson and his talented cadre of technical artists produce pure 60's Disney magic.

To celebrate 50 years one of the world's favorite films, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang the musical of the same name will open June 13, 2018 at the iconic Alhambra Theatre & Dining. Audiences of all ages will be flying high with the show's mixture of madness, intrigue and exuberance. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang will take guests on a fantastic musical adventure with an out-of-this-world car that flies through the air and sails the seas.

San Francisco Playhouse (Artistic Director Bill English; Producing Director Susi Damilano) announced today the six plays that will comprise its 2018-19 Mainstage Season. Berkshire Theatre Group (BTG) is thrilled to present Disney's The Lion King, Jr., featuring Berkshire elementary and middle school students. Directed by Travis Daly, music direction by Erin White and choreography by Kathy Jo Grover, Disney's The Lion King, Jr. will run at The Colonial Theatre on April 28 at 11am and 2pm, and April 29 at 2pm. The double Oscar-winning Sherman Brothers - Richard M Sherman & Robert B Sherman remain one of the most formidable songwriting teams in family entertainment history. From 1964 onwards their unparalleled partnership produced music, songs and scores for dozens of films, particularly many of Disney's best loved titles including Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Jungle Book, Bedknobs & Broomsticks, Charlotte's Web, and The Aristocats. The highly prolific brothers were the sons of the great Al Sherman (1897-1973) who wrote songs for the likes of Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and many singers of the golden American Songbook period of the 1930s-1950s.

And audiences will 'step in time' to show-stopping numbers choreographed by SKIT veteran Krisy Nasto and Maria Mantak, who was recently inducted into the Perry Award Hall of Fame by the New Jersey Association of Community Theaters (NJACT).

The Los Angeles City College (LACC) Theatre Academy and Kritzerland Entertainment present the world premiere of LEVI!, a classic fit new musical based on the life of Levi Strauss. The production opens tonight, November 17, at LACC'S Camino Theatre. The production will continue through December 2, 2017.
