From 4 February 2013 a new cast will perform in Nicholas Hytner's five star West End production of One Man, Two Guvnors. As previously announced, Rufus Hound will take the lead as loveable chancer Francis Henshall. He will join new cast members Sam Alexander, Ian Burfield, Amy Cudden, Harry Kershaw, Kelly Price and Hugh Sachs. Martin Barrass will return to the production to play Alfie, and current cast members David Benson, Rhona Croker and Derek Elroy will continue. Mensah Bediako, Owen Brazendale, Gillian Budd, Max Hutchinson, Tom Lorcan, Aimee Parkes and Claire Sundin complete the ensemble. Check out the headshots of the cast below!
The most successful comedy ever to be staged by the illustrious National Theatre of Great Britain, One Man, Two Guvnors, is coming to Melbourne from 17 May to 22 June 2013 at Arts Centre Melbourne, Playhouse.
Deadline reports that Tony Award-winner James Corden is set to lead the cast of Working Title's upcoming film SCHOOL FOR SANTAS. The project will reunite the 'One Man, Two Guvnors' star with playwright Richard Bean, who will pen the script. A director on the film has not yet been chosen.
According to published reports, One Man, Two Guvnors' Fred Ridgeway passed away on November 12, 2012, at the age of 59 after being diagnosed with a motor neuron disease.

The Rose Theatre Kingston has announced its Christmas production and two further new Rose Theatre Productions in 2013. Covering the Christmas period, Cinderella The Midnight Princess, tells the magical classic Cinderella story with humour and the sublime music of Mozart. In-house productions include Noel Coward's The Vortex and Richard Bean's black comedy Smack Family Robinson, directed by the much-loved Richard Wilson. According to the Daily Mail, Gemma Arterton played the lead role of 'Rita' in a workshop production of the musical adaptation of the film Made In Dagenham. There is not yet a London theater or deal drawn up for a full production, but the Mail reports that Arterton has expressed her 'keenness to move ahead with the project.' The show is aiming to take the stage in about a year.
