Tonight, February 9th, BROADWAY SESSIONS puts the spotlight on Whole Artist Management and more

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday night, February 9th , Broadway Sessions puts the spotlight on Whole Artist Management and more -. Whole Artist Management clients schedule to perform include Hett Banrhill (Spider-Man), Andrew Aaron Berlin (A Christmas Story), Kennedy Caughell (Great Comet), Hannah DeFlumeri (Bullets Over Broadway), Alexa Green (Wicked), Amy Linden (Bridges of Madison County), Emily McNamara (Newsical), Kyle Taylor Parker (Kinky Boots, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Monica Ramirez, Brian Charles Rooney (Three Penny Opera), Sheri Sanders (Rock the Audition), Samantha Shafer (Rocky), Christopher Timson (Young Frankenstein), Lily Tobin, Clyde Voce (Rock of Ages), Brit West (The Color Purple), Andrew Wheeler and Noah Zachary. - The evening will also feature performance from the upcoming Broadway Au Carre concert. featuring the music from Dana Levinson's 5th Republic sung by Lisandro Nesis and Manon Taris -Whole Artist Management is comprised of managers Rich Martino and Mike Cruz. Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Laurie Beechman Theater inside The West Bank Cafe located at 407 west 42nd street (corner of 42nd street and 9th avenue). Reservations strongly recommended at www.bencameron.nyc Doors open at 10pm for pre show open mic. Showtime at 11. $5 drink specials all night. $10 cover includes a donation to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids. RISE BAR is seeking it's next RISING STAR!  After a tremendously successful first season, Rise Bar's talent contest returns! The new summer installment will be on TUESDAY nights!

 MEND, a New Play by Steven Hillyer and Tim Marback, will have a private reading on Wednesday, May 18th 2016. Dan Lauria (LOMBARDI, A CHRISTMAS STORY) will be joined by April Ortiz (IN THE HEIGHTS), Amy Engelhardt (A COMEDY OF ERAS at ACT), and James Donegan (FORBIDDEN BROADWAY). Marc Tumminelli will direct.

The seventh annual Living for Today: 'Shing-a-Ling: A Night with the Broadway Urchins' was held earlier this week at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St). After bringing down the house at the sixth annual concert in January 2014 with a surprise appearance, the three 'urchins' from the Broadway production of Little Shop of Horrors (Carla J. Hargrove, Trisha Jeffrey, DeQuina Moore) took to the stage in a concert of their very own, featuring hits from the radio, the stage, and of course from the musical that brought them together. The concert benefits Gilana's Fund, which celebrates and encourages educational programming promoting acceptance and understanding of our communities, each other, and ourselves.
