Jennifer Foster (Off-Broadway's IF THERE IS I HAVEN'T FOUND IT YET, Michael Arden's MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG, Hollywood Bowl HAIR & MAMMA MIA) releases the first of Foster the Art's Live Sessions: 'Coldwater Canyon'. Foster the Art is a group of Los Angeles based artists and musicians who volunteer their time and skills to raise money and awareness for charitable causes through live music.

Continuing its string of wildly successful productions from the UMPO Series, The Unauthorized Musical Parody of Jurassic Park stomps into Rockwell Table & Stage on January 25, 2018 with tickets selling fast with on this extended run. On Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 7PM at The Montalban Theatre in the heart of Hollywood, one of the largest casts of Broadway stars ever assembled in Los Angeles will unite for a one night only event -Broadway to the Rescue: A Benefit for the Homeless. This one of a kind cast, with nearly 100 Broadway credits combined, will recreate and revive some of Broadway's greatest hits, many by the headliners that made them famous.

(mostly)musicals will return to Upstairs at Vitello's (formerly the E Spot Lounge)  for their 24th edition, Independent MEANS, on Monday, July 3rd at 7:30pm. 

American Soul/R&B singer Freda Payne and Grammy Award nominee B. Slade, who brought down the house during the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts' co-production of For The Record: Scorsese - American Crime Requiem, bring their signature vocal styles to The Wallis for special one-night-only concerts in The Sorting Room on January 7 and 8, respectively. The Sorting Room, an exciting new intimate space for live performance, temporarily transforms The Wallis' Lovelace Studio Theater into a 150-seat nightclub that offers Los Angeles audiences the opportunity to see some of the best established and upcoming talent in cabaret, comedy, live contemporary music, dance performance and more, now through January 14.

'It's nearly time for the big election in November, but we wanted to put together a party people could really get behind!' explains producer Amy Francis Schott.

On Monday, June 27, A LITTLE NEW MUSIC debuted in its new venue, the historic Catalina Jazz Club, showcasing the best of new musical theatre songwriting with an incredible cast of Broadway and LA talent. Comedian, actress, and writer Chris Farah ('Superstore,' 'Modern Family,' 'Chelsea Lately,' solo show/cult character FANCY!) hosted the evening alongside the ALNM band (Will Yanez, Eliana Athayde, and Alex Stickels) and resident musical director Bryan Blaskie.

The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts opens its 2016-17 season with an exciting new 'revisal' of Lerner & Loewe's Paint Your Wagon, Aug. 9-21. Featuring an all new book by Pulitzer Prize nominated playwright Jon Marans, the show opened at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre in June 2016. Twin Cities audiences will be among the first in the world to experience this updated sweeping saga of the mythic West and the pursuit of the American Dream. A Little New Music (ALNM), now at the renowned Catalina Bar & Grill, invites Los Angeles to discover something new to love about musical theater. The Monday, June 27th concert marks ALNM's twelfth collaboration with emerging musical theater creators and performers from near and far.

This Thursday, June 9th at the El Portal Theater in North Hollywood, an elite cast of Broadway veterans will take to the stage for a one-night only benefit concert performing numbers from the award-winning Broadway shows that put them on the map. 100% of the proceeds from this stellar night of song and dance will benefit the Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission. Panera Bread has graciously come on board to sponsor the evening.  Currently in rehearsals, the cast of over 50 Broadway performers, ensemble singers, and dancers is prepping for what is sure to be a thrilling night of theatre in Los Angeles.

Just days before New York City gathers to honor Broadway at the 70th Annual Tony Awards, the best and brightest Broadway performers are being assembled to celebrate and give back right here in Los Angeles.
