Riverside Theatre, led by Producing Artistic Director/CEO Allen D. Cornell and Managing Director/COO Jon R. Moses, present the very funny play by Jonathan Tolins, Buyer & Cellar. Sponsored by Ray & Sonia McGowan, Bill & Judy Schneebeck, and Riverside Theatre's Patron Producers Group, Buyer & Cellar performs on the Waxlax Stage from March 20 - April 8, 2018.

Celebrate Halloween at Feinstein's/54 Below from October 23-31 with a spook-tacular array of shows that will feature: scary tunes, ghost stories, Disney villains, an original tale of blood and revenge, a Tim Burton concert, a night of Stephen Sondheim's eeriest and most macabre shows, and a rockin' evening inspired by Hocus Pocus. Composer and performer, Erik Ransom, will take the Pangea stage on Mondays in August with four evenings of his work.

Adult Swim Games released Tuesday the second act of Peter Panic, a musical video game starring Emily Skeggs (Fun Home) and Gideon Glick (Significant Other). The musical theater app, out now for iOS and Android, follows aspiring director Peter (Remy Germinario) as he attempts to save his local theatre from an ancient evil (Mykal Kilgore).

The Vanity is a stylized, darkly humorous, period melodrama, which plays like a marriage of The Picture of Dorian Gray, Sunset Boulevard and Valley of the Dolls full of high drama and dirty secrets. It's 1947 and Julian Gray, a beautiful but sheltered young Plantation heir decides to start a new life in Hollywood. He finds himself the object of all sorts of hungry attention and the great director Hilton Wheeler casts him as the lead in a major motion picture. In spite of a promising future as a movie star, Julian falls in love with Stella, a makeup girl on the set of his first film. All hell breaks loose, when Julian inherits a mysterious Victorian vanity table from a distant, unknown relative and the vanity is possessed by a powerful demon. Julian is offered the chance to maintain his infamous good looks indefinitely, as long as he agrees to forsake love in favor of hedonistic pleasure. Mr. Gray is faced with an impossible choice, and is tempted in all directions by an array of technicolor characters.

Dixon Place's annual HOT! Festival will feature a one-night-only concert reading of Ben Bonnema's Boys Who Tricked Me on July 29th at 7:30pm. Called 'heart-healing musical theatre' by Joshua Barone of The New York Times, the show is a song-cycle, party-game, sleepover-style musical. It was previously developed at the Musical Theatre Factory and features songs of 'love gone wrong, lust gone right, and that nagging fear that you will die alone.'

The show, with book, music, and lyrics written by Ben Bonnema, is musically directed by Max Mamon, and directed by MTF Artistic Director, Shakina Nayfack.

Join an all-star cast for a one night only celebration of new musicals! Musical Theatre Factory has just completed its inaugural summer season of developing new musical theatre and is hosting a concert at Joe's Pub to celebrate. FROM THE FACTORY FLOOR will feature songs from over fifteen new musicals and all proceeds from the event will benefit future development programs at MTF.

Billed as MTF's "big gay sleepover," the show encourages audience members to share secrets and stories, slumber-party style. An evening of songs about love gone wrong, lust gone right, and that nagging fear that you will die alone, BOYS WHO TRICKED ME stars Mike Longo (MTF's The Disappearing Man, Hair National Tour), Michael De Souza (Transport Theatre Company's Once Upon A Mattress), and Remy Germinario (Bunnicula National Tour).

Winners of the 2013 FringeNYC Overall Excellence Awards were announced by festival Producing Artistic Director Elena K. Holy during a brief ceremony at The Cutting Room in New York. As selected by an independent panel of over 40 theater professionals, the winners are as follows:

A show about Twitter fame, 'Bradley Cole' is a lively 80-minute musical at the Fringe Festival with 16 tuneful songs, an energetic cast, and a plot that applies the gloss of the Twitter-topical to what feels like a mash-up of every predictable show known to mankind: a romantic comedy, a coming-out story, a workplace comeuppance, a spoof of TV, a morality tale about the downside of fame, Cyrano de Bergerac, Paula Deen's Home Cooking.
