The 49th Annual Nashville Film Festival Announces The 2018 Documentary Special Presentations

The 49th Annual Nashville Film Festival continues its rollout of film announcements with the seven selected Documentary Special Presentations that include the World Premiere of James Keach's Turning Point. Music journeys will also be depicted in The King, starring Alec Baldwin, Tony Brown, Chuck D, Emmylou Harris, Ethan Hawke and Radney Foster, It All Begins with a Song and Sammy Davis Jr.: I've Got To Be Me, starring Sammy Davis Jr., Harry Belafonte, Tony Bennett, Diahann Carroll, Billy Crystal and Quincy Jones. The 2018 Documentary Special Presentations will also include the Tennessee Premiere of Hal, starring Jane Fonda, Jeff Bridges, Jon Voight, Judd Apatow and Rosanna Arquette and the Southeast US Premiere of One Vote starring Warren Buffett.

Grammy winning singer / songwriter,John Berry, has announced the air dates and schedule for season two of 'Songs and Stories With John Berry.' The live audience tapings took place in the beautiful Natchez Hills Winery, located at The Fontanel Nashville.Tickets sold out before the artist line-up was made public, reflecting on the impact season one had on fans of the show. The televised show airs weekly on Heartland Television, The Family Channel, The Country Network, Roku (via Heartland), AMG TV, Country TV (New Zealand), Keep It Country TV (UK) and more. Radney Foster Announces CD + Book 'For You To See the Stars'

Today, legendary artist Radney Foster announces his newest project--a CD/book combo titled For You To See The Stars to be released on September 15. The collection of short stories, released via Working Title Farm, will be Foster's very first print publication. The record (Devil's River Records) marks Foster's eleventh studio album and will feature nine new songs, along with a special re-recording of his top single, 'Raining on Sunday.'

Atlanta's Tony Award winning Alliance Theatre presents the world premiere musical, Troubadour, by playwright Janece Shaffer (The Geller Girls, Broke) with original music by Grammy Award-winning recording artist Kristian Bush. Set in 1950s Nashville, Troubadour is a romantic comedy about an unlikely group of friends whose unconventional style changes the course of country music. Troubadour is directed by the Alliance's Jennings Hertz Artistic Director Susan V.
