There’s a new queen in town - wait, make that SIX! The most successful musical in a post-Hamilton theatre world has just received a fresh cast change.

Following previous announcements that Obsidian Theatre and Tapestry Opera have come together to commission a new Black Canadian opera - and the first ever in Obsidian's history -  to be presented by TO Live in March of 2023, the companies are thrilled to share complete details of their upcoming collaboration, OF THE SEA. 

The Strand Theater Company continues its 15th Anniversary Season as Baltimore's women-centric company with the production of High School Coven by Kaela Mei-Shing Garvin. Directed by Lee Coneracci. Assistant Directed by Penelope Chan.

Write Act Repertory will present the world premiere of Not/Now, written by Darrin Yalacki and directed by Amanda Blake Davis (Folk Wandering, Clown Bar), produced with Anne Mesa and John Lant.

The beloved musical adaptation of BEETLEJUICE ended its Broadway run this weekend after 679 performances on Broadway. See video from the show's final performance featuring a sell-out crowd of devoted fans, an appearance from the show's Tony-winning director Alex Timbers, and a very grateful cast.

The Tony Award-winning Alley Theatre has announced a new community engagement program, Alley Transported, and its production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare and directed by Alley Theatre’s Artistic Director Rob Melrose.

The film stars Rachel McAdams, Abby Ryder Fortson, Benny Safdie, and Kathy Bates, alongside Benny Safdie (Licorice Pizza, Good Time) and is written for the screen and directed by Kelly Fremon Craig (The Edge of Seventeen), based on the book by Judy Blume. ​​​​​​​The Kentucky Center has been selected as one of several venues across Kentucky to host the Kentucky Arts Council's traveling exhibit Our Kentucky Home: Hispanic/Latin American Visual Art in the Commonwealth. The exhibit will run from January 9 to February 5, 2023.

CABARET at the KIT KAT CLUB in London's West End has announced that BAFTA Award winner Aimee Lou Wood will play 'Sally Bowles', Olivier Award nominee John McCrea will play 'The Emcee' and Nathan Ives-Moiba will play 'Cliff Bradshaw' from 13 February 2022 until 27 May 2023.

BEETLEJUICE closed last night after 679 performances on Broadway. In its final week, ending January 8, 2023, the production set a new box office record at the Marquis Theatre.
