Throughout the show, Hoffman returns to one phrase that keeps her going - “It could be worse.” She has a tendency to focus on the past, with one example being reenacting how someone invented dominoes out of pure boredom one day. But, even though everything could be worse, Hoffman brings up a range of topics that annoy her.
Lillias White and Lola Tung Play Final HADESTOWN Performance Today

Hadestown stars Lilias White and Lola Tung will play their final performance on Sunday, March 17th. Tung stepped into the role of Eurydice on February 9 for a limited run. White became the first woman to play Hermes on September 13, 2022, and has been with the production since.

The 54 Sings in Trousers concert at 54 Below on March 12th had the same sense of anticipation and delight I felt listening to the In Trousers record for the first time and hearing the story that comes before Finn's FALSETTOS. The bouncy score to In Trousers is a gem on its own, and the 54 Below cast did it justice.
Original LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS Film Reboot in the Works

Little Shop of Horrors, the 1960 horror comedy that inspired the hit musical, is being rebooted for a new film. Little Shop of Halloween Horrors will launch a new franchise, led by Joe Dante and Roger Corman. Following the original film, Alan Menken and Howard Ashman's musical adaptation premiered Off-Broadway in 1982, where the revival now runs.
JUMP Opens Next Month at Theater Wit

Shattered Globe Theatre will present Jump, a Midwest premiere by Charly Evon Simpson, directed by SGT associate artistic director AmBer Montgomery. Performances are April 19-June 1, 2024 at Theater Wit. Press opening is Monday, April 22 at 7:30 p.m.
