Ruby In The Dust announce their involvement in the Festival of Sex, Love and Death: a brand new multi-arts festival featuring an innovative and exciting programme of events: opera, cabaret, physical theatre, new writing and spoken word.

In this episode: James Walsh is a jack of all trades, who masters them all. His newest endeavors include director with 'As Much as I Can,' a theatrical event focusing on HIV infection in the African American community, and as playwright with an original new play beginning previews this weekend at Queens Theatre in the Park. 'Jimmy And Carolyn' is a hysterical, true-to-life world premiere which opens officially September 22nd. Jimmy and wife Carolyn drive from Florida to idyllic Weekapaug, Rhode Island to celebrate Jimmy's birthday at the fancy beach house of their gay son and his life partner from Costa Rica. Once the pepperoni loaf has been devoured, the Italian cookies eaten, the cigarettes smoked, and the Pinot Grigio drunk, amid the laughter, dark truths are exposed as the family struggles to make sense of their irreconcilable memories of the past, and the choices they face as they move forward. A friendly reminder! JIMMY AND CAROLYN begins performances on Friday, September 15, 2017 and runs through Sunday, October 1, 2017 in the theatre's studio space located at the New York State Pavilion in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park.

Joining the previously announced cast, Kevin Kennedy (Coronation Street) stars as Fergus and Rachael Wooding (We Will Rock You) appears as Joanne, alongside Jonathan Halliwell (Let It Shine) as Paul and Chloe Hart (Hairspray) as Val. Alan will be played by Neil Hurst, one of dozens of Yorkshiremen who applied for the role through an open audition call.

Yale Repertory Theatre opens its 2017-18 season with An Enemy of the People by Henrik Ibsen, newly translated from the Norwegian by Paul Walsh, directed by James Bundy, October 6-October 28 at Yale University Theatre (222 York Street). Opening Night is Thursday, October 12.

The award-winning Titan Theatre Company announced today the cast and creative team for its upcoming production of Shakespeare's tragedy RICHARD III, directed by Edward Morgan. RICHARD III will play a three-week limited engagement at Titan's home at Queens Theatre.

Queens Theatre has announced casting for the world premiere production of JIMMY AND CAROLYN, written by James Andrew Walsh and directed by Brooke Ciardelli. The cast features Brad Bradley (James), Lisa Harrow (Carolyn), Luis Carlos de La Lombana (William), and Sam Tsoutsouvas (Jimmy).
