While reflecting on his Academy Award winning film adaptation of Chicago, Rob Marshall has revealed the original concept for 'Razzle Dazzle' that didn't make the cut. The original direction for 'Razzle Dazzle' was ambitious, but was ultimately cut and re-thought due to the film's tight budget and shooting schedule.

Audible has announced a multi-project development and first look deal with award-winning actor, director, and producer Daniel Dae Kim. The collaboration kicks off with Yellow Face, an audio adaptation of David Henry Hwang's play (Yellow Face) that will be produced by Audible Studios in collaboration with Daniel Dae Kim's production company 3AD.

The Wondertwins, Boston natives Billy & Bobby McLain are bringing Love and Happiness to The Dance Complex in Central Square Cambridge for two performances only on  February 25 and 26.  The evening will feature two works, “To Love with Hip-Hop” and “Love,” both of which focus on returning to a level of hip-hop aimed at bringing people together, rather than separating them.  

The New Jersey Youth Chorus (NJYC) presents its Winter Concert at Ridge Performing Arts Center located at 268 South Finley Avenue in Basking Ridge on Sunday, January 22 at 4:00 p.m.

JEAN LOUISA KELLY – the stage and screen star from the original Broadway cast of Into the Woods, and the movies Uncle Buck, Mr. Holland’s Opus, The Fantasticks, and Top Gun: Maverick – has added a livestream option for her New York concert debut at The Laurie Beechman Theatre on Saturday, January 21 at 9:30 PM.

The Limited-Edition Blu-ray SteelBook includes access to a Digital copy of the film and boasts over three hours of legacy bonus content, including commentary with director Rob Marshall and screenwriter Bill Condon, an extensive look at the film with cast and crew interviews, plus extended musical performances.

Alberta Bair Theater is starting the new year off right with two performances of Georgia On My Mind: Celebrating the Music of Ray Charles. Saturday, December 31 at 8 p.m. (includes a New Year’s Eve toast!), and Sunday, January 1 at 3 p.m.

Hanukkah on Rye, starring Jeremy Jordan is now streaming on Peacock. Jordan E. Cooper, the youngest Black American playwright on Broadway, has announced that the history-making and critically-acclaimed Broadway production of Ain’t No Mo’, presented by Lee Daniels, will extend through Friday, December 23, 2022 at the Belasco Theatre.
