From March 9-April 15, 2019, Carnegie Hall presents Migrations: The Making of America, a citywide festival that traces the journeys of people from different origins and backgrounds who helped to shape and influence the evolution of American culture. The five-week festival with more than 100 events will celebrate the many contributions-cultural, social, economic, and political-of the people who helped to build America's culture with musical programming at Carnegie Hall and public programming, performances, exhibitions, and events at more than 70 leading cultural and academic institutions across New York City and beyond.

Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSA) today announced it has selected two new African American majority owned independent networks to be broadly distributed on Comcast Cable systems beginning in January 2019.  After a thorough evaluation of dozens of proposals, Comcast selected AFRO and CLEO TV, both of which will provide quality entertainment that highlights and features TV and movie content about African American and black communities.

The Joyce Theater Foundation (Linda Shelton, Executive Director) is thrilled to present the return of the internationally adored Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo for three weeks, December 11-30. Years after surviving the Holocaust, Primo Levi (Marco Gambino) is a haunted man who segregates himself in his study to try to come to terms with the terrible events he witnessed. He writes stories to understand them better, conjuring the prophet Elijah (Alex Marchi) to guide him through his recollections. The biblical figure, however, unearths the darker buried memories that prey Levi's persistent nightmares, making them become real once again.

Il rapper ventottenne di Legnano (MI) ha convinto la giuria superando gli undici altri finalisti con il brano E che gelo sia; al secondo posto il parmigiano Dentro con la canzone Fazzoletto e al terzo El Diamantik! con Otello & Desdemona.
