On August 27th, the Debbie Reynolds Main stage at the historic El Portal Theater will host the 12th annual LA's Next Great Stage Star(R), following a six week competition.  Creator, Michael Sterling, along with his Co-Executive Producer and Co-Sponsor, Barbara Van Orden, are proud to offer this annual opportunity to talented individuals seeking to spotlight their abilities. Presented by Princess Cruises LA's Next Great Stage Star(R) is the only competition of its kind in the Western United States.

ALO is more than a band. It's a musical relationship that has endured for over two decades, with band members playing in numerous projects together and apart. Following the 2012 release of their freewheeling Sounds Like This, the band took time off to work on various side projects. Zach Gill (keys/vocals) toured the world with the band's college pal Jack Johnson; Dan "Lebo" Lebowitz (guitar/vocals) played shows with the Grateful Dead's Phil Lesh; Steve Adams (bass/vocals) toured and recorded with Nicki Bluhm & the Gramblers; Dave Brogan (drums/vocals) joined up with Utah band, Mokie. These and other endeavors have influenced the band's new album Tangle Of Time.

Sundance Now, AMC Networks' premium streaming service, announced it has come aboard season two of the thrilling crime drama, “Riviera.” The series, which is currently shooting on location in Nice, will be available to stream on Sundance Now in 2019. Joining the cast for season two is Alex Lanipekun (“Homeland,” “The Borgias,” “24”), as well as the previously announced Will Arnett (“Arrested Development”),Juliet Stevenson (Truly, Madly, Deeply), Poppy Delevingne (Kingsman: The Golden Circle), Jack Fox (“Dracula”), and Grégory Fitoussi (World War Z). Ormai manca davvero pochissimo alla notte dei Tony Awards.
