The only drawback to a Postmodern Jukebox concert is that, like all good things, it must come to an end. Not to worry, though - PMJ has become a traveling band of throwback minstrels, so by the time your high has worn off from one show it'll be time to start getting excited for our next visit!

Founded by pianist and arranger Scott Bradlee in 2009, Postmodern Jukebox reimagines contemporary pop, rock, and R&B hits in the style of various yesteryears-from swing to doo-wop to ragtime to Motown-or as Bradlee himself puts it, 'pop music in a time machine.'
The fifth installment of Muny Magic at The Sheldon, The Muny's bi-annual showcase of favorite Muny artists, will be October 18 & 19 at 7:30 p.m. at The Sheldon Concert Hall.

The dueling piano event Piano Battle has sold out shows in Europe, the U.S. and Asia - and is packing the house for their Jan. 26 show in Anchorage. Currently the few remaining tickets are only available through an Anchorage Concert Association subscription (three or more shows in the season). In response to the demand for Piano Battle in Alaska, the Anchorage Concert Association has added a second, late-night set at 10 p.m. that evening.

Following its successful participation in the 2016 PBS Arts Fall Festival, Myron's Cabaret Jazz at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts will present two concerts by acclaimed group Postmodern Jukebox on August 14, with both shows filmed and available for PBS stations across the country to schedule for broadcast in December 2017.
