On Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 8 pm, Shoshana Bean from the hit Broadway musical Wicked will perform at the Michener Art Museum as part of the Broadway Cabaret series presented through PNC Arts Alive. Bean's performance is the second of three in the series, following a sold-out performance in June by Norm Lewis. Limited tickets are available for purchase. The public can register at MichenerArtMuseum.org to win free tickets through an online sweepstakes.

Shoshana Bean's four independent solo releases have all topped the iTunes charts in the U.S. and UK, with her latest album Spectrum landing at #1 on the Billboard Jazz Charts. Shoshana has sold out solo concerts around the globe, lent her voice to countless films and television shows, amassed millions of views on YouTube, toured with Postmodern Jukebox, performed alongside David Foster, Ariana Grande, and Brian McKnight, and sang backup for Michael Jackson for his 30th anniversary concert at Madison Square Garden.

Shoshana made her Broadway debut in the original cast of Hairspray and starred as the first replacement for Elphaba, the green-skinned witch, in Wicked. Most recently, she appeared as Fanny Brice in Funny Girl and as Cee-Cee Bloom in the new musical adaptation of Beaches, for which she earned a Jeff Award Nomination for best lead actress in a musical.

PNC Arts Alive is a multi-year initiative of the PNC Foundation dedicated to supporting visual and performing arts groups with the goal of increasing arts access and engagement in new and innovative ways. The Michener Art Museum is one of only 20 arts organizations in the Philadelphia and southern New Jersey region selected to receive the prestigious PNC Arts Alive grant, which is awarded for "bold thinking around increasing arts access and engagement."

"We are so proud to be able to bring Broadway talent to downtown Doylestown, thanks to the support of PNC Arts Alive," said Laurie McGahey, deputy director. "Broadway Cabaret has been incredibly successful, drawing new audiences to the Michener from our region and beyond."

The third and final performance in the Broadway Cabaret series will take place on August 9 at 8 pm and features Amber Iman from Hamilton. Tickets and more information about both performances can be found at MichenerArtMuseum.org or 215.340.9800.
