Tribeca Film, in a partnership with Emerging Pictures, will be bringing Glee star, Chris Colfer's film debut, Struck by Lightning, to theaters nationwide for a one night only special interactive Q&A screening. This special theatrical event will be hosted by cinemas across the country today, January 6th, the same night as the film's red carpet premiere. Fans all over the U.S. will be virtually united and given the unique chance to see the high school comedy in theaters before its January 11th release date.
In addition to starring in the movie, Colfer also wrote the screenplay for the film, which had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival and was met with a standing ovation. Directed with awareness and exuberance by Brian Dannelly (Saved!), the highly anticipated film also stars Allison Janney, Polly Bergen, Rebel Wilson, Christina Hendricks, Dermot Mulroney, SARAH HYLANd and Angela Kinsey.

EW reports that Chris Colfer will be releasing his first young-adult novel on November 20th. The book, titled STRUCK BY LIGHTNING: THE CARSON PHILLIPS JOURNAL, will be an adaptation of his recently released Tribeca Film by the same name.
