Emmy Award winner Holland Taylor received a commendation by Texas Governor Rick Perry making her an honorary Texan on January 10, 2013, for her play Ann about late Texas governor Ann Richards. Ann, a new play written and performed by Emmy Award-winning actress Holland Taylor, began previews on Broadway at Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street) on Monday, February 18 and will open Thursday, March 7, 2013. Second Stage Theatre just celebrated its annual All-Star Bowling Classic last night, February 4 at Lucky Strike Lanes and Lounge For over 25 years, stars of stage and screen have come out to bowl in support of Second Stage's award-winning seasons and to assist the theatre in its fund-raising efforts. Michael McGrath, who just won a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical, just revealed in a post-Tony interview that he will soon star in an upcoming musical version of THE HONEYMOONERS, based on the famed 1950s television series. McGrath would play 'Ralph,' in the show.
