HBO Sports, one of television's premier storytellers, is teaming up with the Bill Simmons Media Group for COURTSIDE AT THE NBA FINALS, an unscripted one-hour special chronicling the sights and sounds of the 2018 NBA Finals, debuting TUESDAY, JUNE 19 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT), with a replay that evening at 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT), on HBO. Bill Simmons will serve as executive producer.
Spring is in the air - and for Pear Theatre patrons, that means "Pear Slices," a collection of original, short plays from the members of the Pear Playwrights Guild. Now in its fifteenth year, Pear Slices presents fifteen-minute vignettes: a stunning variety of stories, settings, and plot twists occupy the Pear Theatre stage, penned by local playwrights and brought to life with a single cast of highly versatile, local actors. "Pear Slices 2018," directed by Robyn Ginsburg Braverman and Troy Johnson, previews on May 3, with press and Opening Night on Friday, May 4, followed by a champagne gala. The show runs Thursdays through Sundays through May 20. All performances are held at the Pear Theatre, 1110 La Avenida St., Mountain View. TRIP OF LOVE, the dance musical spectacle celebrating the biggest hits of the '60s, is proud to have celebrated 100 performances this Wednesday, January 13, 2016. Following the matinee performance, the company celebrated the milestone with tie-dye cupcakes to match the show's '60s style.
