ABC spices things up with Valentine's Day-themed episodes of the network's hit comedies including “Modern Family” visiting the city of love, Paris; Tommy Lee appearing on “The Goldbergs”; and Tyler Cameron, formerly of “The Bachelorette,” guest starring on “Single Parents.” Then, to celebrate Valentine's Day on Friday, Feb. 14, ABC will air two beloved Charlie Brown specials, “Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown” and “A Charlie Brown Valentine.”

“Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown,” the 1975 special produced and animated by the same team that gave us the now classic holiday specials and taken directly from the late cartoonist Charles M. Schulz's famed comic strip, will air with the classic “A Charlie Brown Valentine,” FRIDAY, FEB. 14 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EST), on ABC. (TV-G) (Rebroadcast. OAD: 2/10/09) 

DIXIE LONGATE'S TUPPERWARE PARTY on the Starlight Stage Indoors is a hoot.  Playing in Kansas City until January 19, Dixie is the outrageous drag stage personae of performer and playwright Kris Andersson.  It is a 90 minute, multimedia, comic presentation and an actual Tupperware Party.

Rock of Ages Hollywood will open on January 15th at a specially built performance venue and nightlife destination on Hollywood Boulevard named after the venue at the center of the show, The Bourbon Room. With 6 years on Broadway and over 2,350 performances, 5 Tony Nominations, 12+ productions worldwide and featuring 30 hit songs from the 80s, Rock of Ages is the best-reviewed- most-nominated-longest-running-hair-band musical of all time. Rock of Ages Hollywood began preview performances in December.

A fine production of the 'unauthorized continuation' of the 'Peanuts' comic strip that seemed a bit too forced.

The world-renowned Hotel Café in Los Angeles will host musician, songwriter Jason Goldstein, backed by a full band, on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 8:00 pm. Accompanying him will be Josh Teitelbaum on drums, Alex Kyhn on bass, Nicholas Monahan on guitar, Lilli Passero and Alicia Blue on backup vocals.

As Little Steven looks back on his early solo career with the upcoming boxed set, RockNRoll Rebel – The Early Work, the creatively restless Rock & Roll Hall of Famer is simultaneously looking forward with a slew of new releases including a theatrical, Gene Kelly-inspired video for his song “Love Again” from his latest album, Summer Of Sorcery, and an exuberant live performance of Bruce Springsteen's “Tucson Train.” Leading up to the December 6 release of the boxed set, Little Steven aka Steven Van Zandt has been steadily releasing digital deluxe editions of the albums included over the last few weeks and today has made available his 1989 album, Revolution, which includes two rare mixes of the title track. 

World of Wonder just announced the nominees for the annual WOWie Awards, celebrating the best in this year's pop culture happenings. 

The ABC Television Network will kick off the holiday season with the classic half-hour animated PEANUTS special, “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving,” WEDNESDAY, NOV. 27 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EST), on ABC. (TV-G) In the 1973 special, “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving,” created by late cartoonist Charles M. Schulz, Charlie Brown wants to do something special for the gang. However, the dinner he arranges is a disaster when the caterers, Snoopy and Woodstock, prepare toast and popcorn as the main dish. Humiliated, it will take all of Marcie's persuasive powers to salvage the holiday for Charlie Brown. (Rebroadcast. ABC OAD: 11/16/01)
