The festival, which sees the theatre raise its curtain for the first time since March, features a rich array of both live and live-streamed work with a programme that features world class performers, East Midlands talent, specially commissioned productions and work in progress.

David Tennant, who starred as the 'Tenth Doctor' on the long-running series 'Doctor Who,' has been added to the celebrity roster at this month's Wizard World Austin convention at the Austin Convention Center. He will appear on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 21-22, as Wizard World, Inc. (OTCBB: WIZD) continues its 2018 schedule with its ninth event in Austin. Wizard World events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop culture: movies, television, gaming, live entertainment, comics, sci-fi, graphic novels, toys, original art, collectibles, contests and more. Wizard World, Inc. (OTCBB: WIZD) continues its 2018 schedule with its ninth trip to the Austin Convention Center at Wizard World Comic Con Austin, September 21-23. The 'Doctor Who' duo of Peter Capaldi and Pearl Mackie, Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite, Blades of Glory), Henry Winkler ('Happy Days,' 'Barry'), Holly Marie Combs ('Charmed,' 'Picket Fences'), Charisma Carpenter ('Buffy the Vampire Slayer,' 'Angel'), Brian Krause ('Charmed'), Kevin Sorbo ('Hercules,' 'Andromeda') and Thomas Ian Nicholas (Rookie of the Year, American Pie) headline the roster of celebrity guests scheduled to attend the comic con and pop culture extravaganza.
Capaldi, Mackie and Carpenter will appear on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 21-22; Heder and Krause will attend on Saturday and Sunday; the others are scheduled to attend all three days.
Wizard World Comic Con Austin will also feature non-stop live entertainment, gaming, exclusive Q&A sessions with top celebrities, movie screenings hosted by stars and directors and more. Details to follow soon.

It's 60 years since Harold Pinter's play premiered - and flopped - at Lyric Hammersmith, baffling critics (with one exception) and audiences alike. Now, we expect the sinister subversion of both the seemingly mundane setting and the dramatic form that Pinter the jobbing actor knew from rep: that of the sub-Christie mystery thriller. But played well, as it is here by a starry cast, the play still has the power to unsettle.
