The CM Performing Arts Center has revealed the cast of A CHRISTMAS CAROL THE MUSICAL, featuring beloved performers from CM's Past, Present, and Future!

Opening its 54th season, CMPAC puts on a rocking version of Rock of Ages. Rock of Ages tells the story of “small town girl” Sherrie, who dreams of becoming an actress and “city boy” Drew, who dreams of becoming a rock star. It’s love at first sight, when the two bump into each other at The Bourbon Room, a fabled West Hollywood rock club run by former rock impresario Dennis Dupree and his assistant Lonny.

The CM Performing Arts Center has announcee the cast of their upcoming production of Rock of Ages which kicks off Season 54, running on the Main Stage in The Noel S. Ruiz Theatre from January 18 - February 01.

SMU's Meadows School of the Arts will present its 28th annual 'Meadows at the Meyerson' concert at 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 20 in the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, 2301 Flora St. in Dallas. Effective immediately, The Cleveland Orchestra has announced the promotion of Vinay Parameswaran to the position of Associate Conductor and the extension of his contracts. The agreement continues Mr. Parameswaran's tenure with the Orchestra through the 2021-22 season.

Paul Phillips, famed Broadway Actor and Stage Manager has passed away in Naples, Florida of natural causes at the age of 95. Paul Phillips was born on October 1, 1925 in Pleasantville, NY. Paul toured the country and worked summer stock for many years stage-managing such legendary performers as Charlton Heston, Groucho Marx, Ethel Waters, and more.

The Cleveland Orchestra has announced an extension of Assistant Conductor Vinay Parameswaran's contracts. The agreement continues Parameswaran's tenure with the Orchestra for two years through the 2020-21 season. He will continue to hold the Elizabeth Ring and William Gwinn Mather Assistant Conductor Endowed Chair. A concurrent agreement extends Parameswaran's role as Music Director of the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra through the same period.

The Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra (COYO) and its Music Director Vinay Parameswaran today announced details of the 2018-19 season. The Youth Orchestra, under Mr. Parameswaran's direction, will perform a three-concert series at Severance Hall on November 16, 2018; March 3, 2019 (with the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Chorus); and May 10, 2019.
