Academy Award-winning actor Emma Stone joined Dr. Harold Koplewic from the Child Mind Institute to discuss her experiences with anxiety that started at an early age. In a panel that felt more like an intimate therapy session for all to see and hear, Stone discussed the importance of being more open and honest with her anxiety. Using cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, she described how anxiety “is part of me but isn't me.”

Indie Memphis Film Festival is pleased to announce the full slate of films for its 2018 incarnation, spanning from November 1st - 5th, 2018. This year's festival promises to be a very exciting and wildly varied one, featuring five World Premiere screenings and one U.S. Premiere screening, as well as Special Presentations such as CABIN BOY with Chris Elliott in attendance and Barbara Loden's feminist masterpiece WANDA presented by Amy Seimetz (Showtime's “The Girlfriend Experience”), as well as a retrospective of the recent films of filmmaker Hong Sangsoo.

Today experimental Portland duo Reptaliens unveil their new video '29 Palms' -- a collaborative piece by artist couple Abby Gregg and Taber Lathrop. Through the use of stop motion, hand painted film and found footage, Abby Gregg's painterly style of animation translates musical themes of '29 Palms' into intimate textures, immersive atmospheres and abstract landscapes with an emphasis on desert and oceanic environments. With the visual content compiled, Taber Lathrop's connects the song's whimsical, psychedelic and personal themes to the abstract, emotional and textural landscapes.

Lauren Daigle's new album Look Up Child debuted this past week at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart, behind only Eminem and Paul McCartney, setting personal and industry chart highs for the Grammy nominated, platinum selling vocalist. The story was different on the digital charts though, as Look Up Child debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes digital sales chart.
