Academy Award-winning actor Emma Stone joined Dr. Harold Koplewic from the Child Mind Institute to discuss her experiences with anxiety that started at an early age. In a panel that felt more like an intimate therapy session for all to see and hear, Stone discussed the importance of being more open and honest with her anxiety. Using cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, she described how anxiety “is part of me but isn't me.”

The Hackensack Main Street Business Alliance and the City of Hackensack are excited to announce the latest group of musical artists to participate in second annual 'PAC the House' series at the Hackensack Performing Arts Center (HACPAC). Tickets for the performances range from $40 to $60.

Indie Memphis Film Festival is pleased to announce the full slate of films for its 2018 incarnation, spanning from November 1st - 5th, 2018. It took 50 years, but fans will find it well worth the wait.   Sir Paul McCartney appears in his first 60 MINUTES profile, a report containing surprisingly intimate moments in which he shares rare details from the Beatles years and his subsequent decades as the most successful musician in popular music history.  Sharyn Alfonsi's interview with McCartney will be broadcast on the 51st  Season Premiere of 60 MINUTES, Sunday, Sept. 30 (7:30-8:30 PM, ET/7:00-8:00 PM PT)  on the CBS Television Network.

The "Take Me To The River: New Orleans LIVE" tour comes to the McAninch Arts Center, located at 425 Fawell Blvd. on the campus of College of DuPage, Oct. 14 at 6 p.m.This performance will be the 3rd in a tour beginning Oct. 12 in Milwaukee and continuing through November through the Midwest and Northeast.

Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden today announced that husband-and-wife team Emilio and Gloria Estefan are the next recipients of the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. Today experimental Portland duo Reptaliens unveil their new video '29 Palms' -- a  collaborative piece by artist couple Abby Gregg and Taber Lathrop. Through the use of stop motion, hand painted film and found footage, Abby Gregg's painterly style of animation translates musical themes of '29 Palms' into intimate textures, immersive atmospheres and abstract landscapes with an emphasis on desert and oceanic environments. With the visual content compiled, Taber Lathrop's connects the song's whimsical, psychedelic and personal themes to the abstract, emotional and textural landscapes.

dick clark productions and ABC today announced country superstar Carrie Underwood and multi-platinum selling band Imagine Dragons as part of the first round of performers at the “2018 American Music Awards.” Additionally, multi-platinum selling artists Post Malone and Ty Dolla $ign will team up for their first-ever AMA performance. Hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross, the “2018 American Music Awards,” the world's largest fan-voted awards show, will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC.

The Peace Center announces Peace Voices Songwriters, a new extension of the Peace Voices program. Spearheaded by Greenville's Edwin McCain and songwriter Maia Sharp, the program features a concert series with guest singer-songwriters. It also offers a workshop series for aspiring songwriters, which will culminate in a recorded song.

Lauren Daigle's new album Look Up Child debuted this past week at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart, behind only Eminem and Paul McCartney, setting personal and industry chart highs for the Grammy nominated, platinum selling vocalist.
