The Columbus Symphony announces its roster for the 2019-20 Pops Series. Both subscriptions and single tickets will go on sale Wednesday, August 28, at 10am.

Disney's 'Pixar in Concert', in which a live symphony orchestra performs selections from 14 Pixar film scores to a montage of scenes from each movie, comes to Musco Center for the Arts on Saturday, September 28 at 7:30pm. 

Casa Mañana continues celebrating its 60th anniversary season, presented by Frank Kent Cadillac, with Mel Brooks' outrageous, in-your-face comedy The Producers. The show runs June 1-9, 2019. Tickets are on sale now.

The Harry Potter Film Concert Series returns to Ohio Theatre with Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in Concert, the fourth film in the Harry Potter series. On January 18, the Columbus Symphony will perform the magical score live from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire while the entire film plays in high-definition on a 40-foot screen.

As part of its 2019-20 Zions Bank Films in Concert series, the Utah Symphony today announced six blockbuster and award-winning movies on the big screen at Abravanel Hall with the film scores performed live to picture by the orchestra. Subscription packages for the Films in Concert Series go on sale Friday, May 10, 2019 at 10 AM via utahsymphony.org and (801) 533-6683. Single tickets for each film start at $29 and go on sale on June 14, 2019 at 10 AM through the Utah Symphony and ArtTix outlets.

Music Director Osmo V nsk and the Grammy Award-winning Minnesota Orchestra today unveiled plans for the ensemble's 2019-20 season, which runs from September 2019 to June 2020, and includes Classical, Holiday, Live at Orchestra Hall, Chamber Music, Music and Mindfulness, Young People's Concerts, and Sensory-Friendly and Relaxed Family Concerts.

The Shakespeare Theatre Association (STA) annual conference came to Prague this year. The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia (COP) explores the sound of the pipa alongside familiar European repertoire with works of Mozart and Dvo?ak. These works for strings by master composers are followed by a traditional Chinese tune arranged by COP's own Dirk Brosse. The Pipa is showcased alongside the Chamber Orchestra's sound in Lou Harrison's Concerto for Pipa with String Orchestra. Wu Man will also first introduce us to the instrument by playing a solo piece for the Pipa in the intimate setting of the Perelman Theater.
