A new leading lady has been announced for the Broadway production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, the longest-running show in Broadway history. Produced by Cameron Mackintosh/Really Useful Group, Inc. and directed by Harold Prince, the musical is in its phenomenal 21st year in New York, playing at The Majestic Theatre (247 West 44th Street).

Howard McGillin returns to the title role in Phantom of the Opera, replacing John Cudia on July 30th, 2008. With over 2,000 record-breaking performances as Broadway's masked man, Mr. McGillin has played The Phantom on Broadway more than any other performer.

Beginning Tuesday evening, March 25, Kim Stengel, the actress who has played the role of the outrageous opera diva 'Carlotta' in The Phantom of the Opera more than any other actress worldwide, will join the Broadway production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, directed by Harold Prince, at The Majestic Theatre (247 West 44th Street). This will mark Ms. Stengel's Broadway debut.

The smash hit London musical Jerry Springer - The Opera In Concert plays Carnegie Hall (881 7th Avenue) for two nights only: yesterday January 29 and this evening January 30, 2008 at 8PM.
