Sacred Circle Theatre Company, a newly formed theatre company based in Brooklyn, performs its inaugural production, Oscar Wilde's SALOME at The Alchemical in Chelsea. Performances begin today, June 16 and continue June 18 and Pride Weekend, June 23-25. Performances are at 7:30pm at 104 West 14th Street.

CAST ANNOUNCED for CHANCE - A New Musical Play about Love, Risk, and Getting It Right!

Tectonic Theater Project has announced Tectonic At 25!, an anniversary benefit performance celebrating 25 years of groundbreaking theater. The star-studded evening, directed by Tectonic Theater Project founder Moises Kaufman and hosted by two-time Academy Award winner Jane Fonda, will be held on November 7, 2016 at 7pm at NYU Skirball (566 LaGuardia Place, New York, NY 10012). The Hangar Theatre's free late-night series, The Wedge, will return to Ithaca this summer under the direction of 2016 Drama League Directing Fellows Chloe Treat, Drew Feldman, Yavor Kostov, and Katie Lupica. The Fellows will be staging productions of H. Leivick's The Golem, the world premiere of Oh Oh You Will Be Sorry! by Claire Kiechel, James Joyce's The Dead, and Salome by Oscar Wilde. The plays will last 45 minutes each and will be brought to life by the 2016 Hangar Lab Company.

Erin Markey, Josh Sharp, April Kidwell, Michael Cyril Creighton and Phillip Taratula will join the cast of the sixth annual "Night Of A Thousand Judys" - the Pride concert to benefit The Ali Forney Center presented by The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre. The event will take place at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center (129 West 67th Street in Manhattan) on Monday, June 6.

THE BIG HOT MESS, written and performed by Catherine Debon and featuring Kevin Copps as the Boss and voiceover by Owen Walker, is directed by Amanda Ortmayer as part of DIVAfest, beginning today, June 3.

A Woman of No Importance, Oscar Wilde's stylish comedy that exposes the cynicism and hypocrisy that underlies high "society", begins previews Sunday, May 29 at the Festival Theatre. This dangerous drama, directed by Eda Holmes, is the fourth major Wilde play to be presented under Artistic Director Jackie Maxwell's tenure - completing Wilde's brilliant, scalpel-like study of the world around him.

Quintessence Theatre, Philadelphia's only all-classical repertory theatre, announces its seventh season of progressive classics.
