THE MEETING* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater to continue the Winter/Spring 2016 season on Sunday, April 17 at 9:30 PM. The April show will honor the iconic entertainer Barbra Streisand with special guests Jessica Vosk, Nick Cearley, Inyang Bassey and Amber Martin, with others to be announced. Tracy Stark serves as the show's Music Director.

Malibu Playhouse continues their 2016 season with another limited-run critically acclaimed production: The Pavilion written by Craig Wright, the creator and executive producer of the dramatic series, Greenleaf, the first original series produced by Oprah Winfrey, which will begin airing in June. The Pavilion is helmed by Jeremy Skidmore, world renowned theater director and current Guest Artistic Director of the Malibu Playhouse.

It is truly a rare sight to see a theatre as large as The Ed Mirvish at capacity for a serious two and a half hour drama. Plays as intimate as this one are generally more suited to smaller venues. However the current production of The Judas Kiss, in Toronto from the UK before it takes New York by storm, is marvelous and must be seen by all before it leaves; it feels perfectly at home in the Eddy.

New York City, NY — Celebrating its 15th season, the Ensemble for the Romantic Century (ERC) returns to BAM Fisher for six performances of Anna Akhmatova: The Heart is Not Made of Stone. Written by Eve Wolf and directed by Donald T. Sanders, this multi-media production examines the troubled relationship between artistic creation and totalitarianism through the perspective of the Russian poet Anna Akhmatova (1889-1966). This tale of passion, love, political repression, and redemption is interwoven with music by Russian composers' Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, and Shostakovich.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater to continue the Winter/Spring 2016 season on Sunday, March 20 at 9:30 PM. The Meeting* has been called "delicious and delightfully droll" by The New York Post and "hilarious and sardonic" by The Village Voice. A story for Slate.com called the evening "so deliciously icy that it left me shivering with fear and delight." The 2014-2015 season sold out after a profile in The New York Times "Arts & Leisure" section. The March show will honor the celebrated singer and songwriter Elton John with special guests Natalie Joy Johnson, Lance Horne and The Quinns (Nadia Quinn and Ameara Wahhab) with others to be announced. Tracy Stark serves as the show's Music Director.
