The life of a young Broadway performer isn't easy-these kids are practically living double lives, going from a busy, exhausting school day to casually performing in a Broadway show eight times a week. #nbd But despite their jam-packed schedules, these talented t(w)eens still make time to do good in the world with KIDS SERVE, a program of BROADWAY SERVES dedicated to providing Great White Way youngsters with the chance to give back.

Andrew Lloyd Webber's smash hit musical School of Rock - The Musical is entering its second smashing year on Broadway with a new class of cast members. Comedic actor Eric Petersen just assumed the role of wannabe rock star, Dewey Finn, last night, November 7, 2016. The Kid Band, who perform Andrew Lloyd Webber's score live at every performance, now includes new cast members Rachel Katzke as Katie the bass player and Walden Sullivan as Lawrence the keyboardist, along with returning cast members, Brandon Niederauer as Zack the guitarist and Raghav Mehrotra as Freddy on drums. Additionally, Olivia Chun assumes the role of super serious band manager Summer, Steven Booth assumes the role of Ned, Annabelle Wachtel plays Marcy, Terrance Bell, Jr. plays Mason, Chloe Bryanwill plays Madison, and Ellie Kim joins the cast as a swing.

Magical Music for Life Foundation is thrilled to present its 5th annual TUNES IN TIMES SQUARE benefit concert Sunday, May 1, 2016 on Broadway between 42nd & 43rd Streets in Times Square. The goal of the concert is to raise financial support to produce a new original album of songs for water safety applicable to children with and without specials needs, awareness of our music, and funds to perform our musical written especially for children with autism and other special needs. The event will be a continuous sing-a-thon, where talented children and groups from six states will come together to share the same stage with over 70 Broadway performers from most of the current shows and many past shows. Young performers from the Broadway community gathered to raise money for Story Shifters, a theatre residency for students with physical, medical and neurological impairments. The King could soon be traveling from Siam to Anna's world in Britain! The Daily Mail writes that Tony winner Kelli O'Hara might be leading Broadway's THE KING AND I across the pond late next year or in early 2017, with the Drury Lane Theatre rumored as the musical's new home.
