LEGENDS OF OZ: DOROTHY'S RETURN opens in theaters nationwide today starring Broadway favorites Lea Michele (Dorothy), Bernadette Peters (Glinda), Megan Hilty (China Princess), Patrick Stewart (Tugg), Hugh Dancy (Marshal Mallow), Oliver Platt (Wiser) and Martin Short (the Jester). Also supplying their familiar voice talents are Jim Belushi (Lion), Dan Aykroyd (Scarecrow), and Kelsey Grammer (Tin Man).

The gala will take place on Monday, May 12 at The Grand Ballroom of The Plaza Hotel, beginning at 6:30pm.

The soundtrack for upcoming animated movie musical LEGENDS OF OZ: DOROTHY'S RETURN starring Broadway headliners and recognizable breakout stars Lea Michele and Megan Hilty is now available.

The Laguna Playhouse Executive and Artistic Directors, Karen Wood and Ann E. Wareham are thrilled to present screen legend Leslie Caron, in her first Southern California theatrical performance in over 25 years! SIX DANCE LESSONS IN SIX WEEKS, written by Richard Alfieri, with choreography by Donna McKechnie (A Chorus Line) and directed by Michael Arabian (Waiting for Godot). SIX DANCE LESSONS IN SIX WEEKS will also feature 6-time Ovation Award-winning actor David Engel. 'What an honor to have on our stage the incomparable Leslie Caron and the multi-talented David Engel,' remarks Wood. 'It's a dream cast and a dream come true. With Michael Arabian and Donna McKechnie directing and choreographing, this has to be one of the most anticipated productions in the Playhouse's storied history,' adds Wareham. SIX DANCE LESSONS IN SIX WEEKS will begin previews tonight, April 26 and will open on Saturday, May 3 at 7:30pm and run through Sunday, June 8, 2014 at the Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach.

The 52nd Street Project makes a difference in the lives of countless Hell's Kitchen (Clinton) kids by pairing them with theater professionals who mentor them through the creation of original theater. Perhaps the most poignant presentations made by The 52nd Street Project are those in its semi-annual Playmaking series, which features the Project's youngest Hell's Kitchen mentees-ten year-olds who have just begun their theatrical education-writing for accomplished professional actors and director-dramaturgs, and revealing their work to a public audience for the first time. Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director), Barry Grove (Executive Producer), and Mandy Greenfield (Artistic Producer) are pleased to announce complete casting for the upcoming world premiere production of TALES FROM RED VIENNA, the new play by David Grimm (Measure for Pleasure), directed by Kate Whoriskey (Ruined at MTC).

Faith Prince, the Tony Award winner who in 1992 stopped the show nightly with her rendition of 'Adelaide's Lament' in Guys and Dolls on Broadway, brings her one-woman show to Pepperdine University's Smothers Theatre at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14.
