Screamfest Horror Film Festival is proud to announce that the following films have been admitted to the festival - the first wave of the 2016 line up.

Burning Coal Theatre Company will open its 20th season in Raleigh, North Carolina with David Hare's Skylight, a love story about a brashly swaggering, politically conservative middle-aged businessman in the hotels and restaurants trade who stumbles back into the life of a progressive-minded, younger woman with whom he had a tempestuous affair years  before.  The play will run Thursdays through Saturdays, Oct. 6-9, 13-15 and 20-22, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays, October 9, 16, and 23, 2016 at 2 p.m. Performances will take place at Burning Coal's Murphey School Auditorium, 224 Polk Street, Raleigh, NC 27604.

Broadway stars and a host of musical presentations are on tap for the upcoming 2016-17 primetime television season. Included in THE LINEUP will be new series starring HAMILTON's Christopher Jackson, FROZEN's Kristen Bell and BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY star Stephen Pasquale.

Tony award winner FAITH PRINCE in concert to benefit Hudson Stage Company. All proceeds directly benefit the upcoming season of Hudson Stage Company - a non-profit professional theatre dedicated to producing provocative, affordable and transformative theatre to its audiences.

On May 2nd, The 52nd Street Project held their annual benefit, LAUGHING MATTERS, Kids' Stand-up, Adults Deliver at the Edison Ballroom in New York. The raucous sold-out event hosted by comedians Lewis Black and Kathleen Madigan, was The Project's most successful to date with over 350 people in attendance, raising funds for the Project's academic and artistic mentoring programming. The Project makes a difference in the lives of Hell's Kitchen (Clinton) kids by pairing them with theater professionals who mentor them through the creation of original theater. Perhaps the most poignant presentations made by The 52nd Street Project are those in its semi-annual Playmaking series, which features the Project's youngest Hell's Kitchen mentees-ten year-olds who have just begun their theatrical education-writing for accomplished professional actors and revealing their work to a public audience for the first time. Accomplished professional actors including Dan Butler, Carson Elrod, Daniel Jenkins, Matt Saldivar and others will perform in Fresh Start: The Rejuvenation Plays, the Project's Spring 2016 Playmaking show.

Judy Kuhn, the acclaimed actress and singer who stars in the groundbreaking Broadway musical Fun Home, will perform Finding Home, a concert to benefit The 52nd Street Project, which makes a difference in the lives of Hell's Kitchen (Clinton) kids by pairing them with theater professionals who mentor them through the creation of original theater. The event will take place Sunday, February 28, at 7:30pm at the Project's Five Angels Theater (789 Tenth Avenue, 2nd floor, in Manhattan).

In celebration of Fiddlehead Theatre Company's 20th Anniversary Production of the iconic musical RENT (February 5-21, 2016 at the Back Bay Events Center - 180 Berkeley Street, Boston), original RENT cast member and Broadway star Fredi Walker-Browne will present a free seminar called "Storytelling for Actors" on Saturday, February 6th at the Back Bay Events Center, between 12-4 pm.

Internationally acclaimed actor Matthew Perry (Friends, The Odd Couple) leads the cast in the World Premiere of his playwriting debut, The End of Longing, at the Playhouse Theatre, London, from 2 February - 14 May 2016. This fast paced, and bittersweet comic new play, will be directed by the critically acclaimed and award-winning director, Lindsay Posner (Speed-the-Plow, Other Desert Cities) reuniting the pair, following their first West End collaboration on Sexual Perversity in Chicago at the Comedy Theatre in 2003.
