FROZEN West End Cancels Performances 22-24 December

The West End production of Frozen has cancelled performances 22-24 December due to COVID-19. According to a statement posted to the production's social media accounts, the cancellations are due to 'Covid-enforced absences without our cast and crew.'

A Frozen Forest has appeared, with snow fall every hour from noon until 7pm alongside other magical touches across the area, including the Insta-famous Infinity Chamber having an icy makeover to appear Frozen, with an additional 3D neon installation at both the Long Acre and Floral Street entrances.

“Do you think I care for the souls of the poor?” It’s something that could come straight from a private conversation in Downing Street, but on this occasion it dates back to the first century in Domitius, a brand new musical about the fifth emperor of Rome: Nero. Born as Lucius Domitius Ahenobarbus before he became Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, he’s quite the controversial figure in Roman history.

Frozen is set to open at the newly refurbished Theatre Royal Drury Lane on 8 September 2021, with previews from 27 August, and is now booking until 3 April 2022. With music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, and book by Jennifer Lee, Frozen is directed by Michael Grandage.
