New York's hottest composers have gotten into bed with lyricist Alex Rubin for her premiere concert, Lyric Tramp: The Songs of Alex Rubin. The concert, which will feature Alex Rubin's lyrics, paired with the music of 8 different composers, will take place on Monday, December 16, 2013 at The Laurie Beechman Theatre (407 W. 42 St, New York, NY).

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has chosen Abrams Artists Agent Beth Blickers, OBIE and Drama Desk Award-winning actress Donna Lynne Champlin, Tony Award and Drama Desk Award-nominated actor Hunter Foster, Tony Award and Drama Desk Award-nominated composer and lyricist Amanda Green, Tony Award-nominated director Thomas Kail, Associate Producer of the Old Globe Eric Louie, Outer Critics Circle-nominated director and choreographer Josh Prince, Tony Award and Drama Desk nominated actor and writer Tony Sheldon, Tony Award-nominated and Grammy-winning composer Lucy Simon, and two-time Tony Award-winning actor Michael Cerveris to serve as the Grand Jury of this year's Next Link project.
Fundamental Theater Project will present the upcoming staged reading of Supersoldier, a new rock musical with book, music and lyrics by Hair co-creator, Jim Rado. The reading is presented in collaboration with New York Theatre Barn, and will be directed by NYTB Artistic Director, Joe Barros. Ted Rado also serves as Co-Book Writer on the piece, and Steve Margoshes and Marteen Andruet join as Musical Directors.

NYMF held open auditions for Season 8 of the annual talent contest. Nearly 200 hopefuls turned out to compete for the title of NYMF's Next Broadway Sensation, and the field was narrowed down to 20 semifinalists, who competed in two heats at New World Stages.

Victoria is currently a contestant on America's Got Talent. Victoria is replacing the perviously announced Ashley Moniz.
The cast will feature Graydon Long, Ashley Moniz (Nat. Tour: Sister Act, 9 to 5, Legally Blonde), James Penca, Kristine Reese (Bway: Les Miserables, Nat. Tour: Wicked). Barrett Wilbert Weed (Bway: Lysistrata Jones, New York: Bare), and Noah Zachary (New York: Dear Edwina). The cast will also include Daniel Bonthius, Nathan Scott Hancock, Patty Lohr, and Chloe Williamson.
