Five mainstage productions and additional programming planned

Factory Theatre has announced that following a wide-reaching candidate search, Toronto-based dramaturge and curator Mel Hague has been appointed Artistic Director of Factory Theatre. Currently the Associate Artistic Director at Canadian Stage, Mel will take over for Nina Lee Aquino at the conclusion of her 10-year term, and will join Managing Director Mark Aikman at the helm of Factory's senior leadership team.

Toronto based theatre company, Nautanki Bazaar is thrilled to present its debut in-person production AN IMM-PERMANENT RESIDENT. Written and performed by Neha Poduval & Himanshu Sitlani and directed by Miquelon Rodriguez, AN IMM-PERMANENT RESIDENT will premiere at the Theatre Centre as part of the RISER Toronto 2022.

The Factory Theatre Board of Directors has announced that Nina Lee Aquino will end her tenure as the Factory's Artistic Director. Factory is continuing its innovative 20/21 season, with the world premiere of YOU CAN’T GET THERE FROM HERE, a brand new collection of audio theatrical dramas all set in and around Toronto’s many neighbourhoods and familiar landmarks.
