Roses are Blind, an award-winning film featuring 4-time Tony Award winner Boyd Gaines and Tony nominee Daniel Davis will have a screening in NYC on Wed. 1/15 at 8:15pm at Anthology Archives (62 Second Avenue) as part of the NewFilmmakers New York Film Festival. Tickets are $7 and go on sale at 5:30pm the night of screening at the Anthology Box Office. The film is directed by Gui Agustini, Executive Produced by Wendy J. White and co-written by Agustini and White.

PBS KIDS today announced DONKEY HODIE, a new social-emotional series for children ages 3-5 created by Fred Rogers Productions and Spiffy Pictures. DONKEY HODIEis slated to premiere nationwide on PBS stations, the PBS KIDS 24/7 channel and PBS KIDS digital platforms in winter 2021.

The Second City has announced casting for the return of The Second City's Black History Month. Under the direction of Ali Barthwell, the show features ensemble members Robel Arega, Jillian Ebanks, Leila Gorstein, Collette Gregory, Bill Letz, and Max Thomas. John Love will serve as music director and Sam McNerland will stage manage. The show runs February 4-March 11 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8pm.

Casting has been announced for the North American tour of Jimmy Buffett's ESCAPE TO MARGARITAVILLE, coming to Segerstrom Center for the Arts February 4 - 9, 2020 in Segerstrom Hall. The musical will star Chris Clark as Tully, Sarah Hinrichsen as Rachel, Shelly Lynn Walsh as Tammy, Peter Michael Jordan as Brick, Rachel Lyn Fobbs as Marley, Patrick Cogan as J.D. and Matthew James Sherrod as Jamal/Ted.

The Muny announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for its 2020 season, which opens June 15 with Kander and Ebb's internationally-acclaimed Chicago.
