Riggs, Sheller, Weinhold Join EPAC On The Edge 2019

Ephrata Performing Arts Center's EPAC on the Edge staged reading series returns this month. Back for its third season, EPAC on the Edge celebrates the LGBTQIA+ communities with readings of three different full-length plays that showcase the growing representation of these communities in the American theater.

Hennepin Theatre Trust will launch Energy: Made Here, presented by Andersen Windows, with a free, public celebration in the ART Gallery at Le Meridien Chambers Minneapolis today, Dec. 19 from 5 to 8 p.m. This will be the ninth round of Made Here window displays in WeDo the West Downtown Minneapolis Cultural District.

This season, Planet Ant Theatre will present the holiday-themed, action spoof Christmas Impossible, an adaptation of its 2003 original comedy 25, November 24 - December 16. Tickets ($20) are on sale now at www.planetant.com and in person at the Planet Ant Box Office starting 30 minutes prior to show time. A complete performance schedule follows,

EPAC presents Tony Award winning Cabaret today, Oct 16 - Nov 1. This romantic tale of the young British dance gal Sally Bowles, played by Martha Wasser, and American writer Cliff Bradshaw, played by Sean Deffley, is highlighted through their experiences in depression-era Berlin. All are welcome to enter the Kit Kat Klub while Cabaret Emcee Nick Smith offers enticing insight as he brings the audience inside to feel the passion that winds throughout this classic Broadway musical.
