Lesser America, in residence at Theater for the New City has announced that it will present the world premiere of American River, written by Micheline Auger and directed by Stephen Brackett, opening Saturday, July 14th at 8pm at Theater for the New City. On Wednesday, November 16, 2011 over 200 people attended 'Stockings with Care's Celebrity Bartending Night' in New York City at Hudson Station Bar and Grill. Stockings with Care provides holiday gifts for children whose families either live in homeless shelters or are in jeopardy of becoming homeless.

A post-performance conversation moderated by David Henry Hwang is set following the September 9 performance of INVASION!, Jonas Hassen Khemiri's Obie Award-winning play receiving an encore production this fall, presented by The Play Company at The Flea Theater (41 White St.) in Tribeca, it has been announced by Kate Loewald, Founding Producer, and Lauren Weigel, Executive Producer, of The Play Company.
