Underscore Theatre and The Den Theatre are pleased to present an all-new staging of the Jeff Award-nominated Best New Musical HAYMARKET (formerly Haymarket: The Anarchist's Songbook) the true story of Chicago's infamous Haymarket massacre. Broadway Dreams demonstrated the unifying power of the arts when the internationally renowned performing arts education program sent nine Broadway professionals to Moscow, Russia for the third consecutive year. Through a landmark partnership created between the non-profit organization, the U.S. Embassy, the U.S. Department of State, and Moscow Broadway, Broadway Dreams offered their unique brand of Broadway master classes to 81 Russian performers of all ages during a ten-day intensive program. The collaboration culminated in three public performances at the Lyudmila Ryumina Concert Hall, Monday, April 23 and Tuesday, April 24, 2018.

The Cabaret's grand opening season of engaging, intimate performances kicks off at the historic Metzger Building in the heart of the evolving Library Square on April 21. The 2018 Spring/Summer season will feature three Tony Award winners, including an iconic Broadway legend, a trio of divas from across the pond, a duo of musical misfits...and undie-rockers. This season at The Cabaret, every performance is a grand opening and will celebrate all things cabaret with unique experiences, champagne toasts, and red carpet rollouts.
National New Play Network, the country's alliance of nonprofit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, celebrates the continuation of the Rolling World Premiere Doublewide by Stephen Spotswood at Vermont Stage. The play will receive a total of four distinct NNPN RWP productions, rolling through Member Theaters Florida Repertory Theatre (Fort Myers; September 22-October 29, 2017), Florida Studio Theatre (Sarasota; August 2-20, 2017), Vermont Stage (Burlington; January 24-February 11), and Williamston Theatre (MI; January 27-Feburary 18, 2018). Doublewide is NNPN's 66th Rolling World Premiere.

The Skivvies are Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley, award-winning NYC actor/musicians doing stripped down versions of eclectic covers and comedic, genre-hopping mashups. Not only are the arrangements stripped down - cello, ukulele, glockenspiel, melodica - but the Skivvies literally strip down to their underwear to perform. Back by popular demand, the duo appeared at Feinstein's/54 Below for two shows on January 14th and 20th.
