Newport World Resorts (NWR) is looking to cast 'Young and Teen Fiona' in its upcoming production of the Broadway smash 'Shrek The Musical.' The musical is based on Dreamworks’ animated film, featuring the book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire and music by Jeanine Tesori, who have also collaborated on the Tony Award-winning musical 'Kimberly Akimbo.'

The national tour of SHREK THE MUSICAL, currently playing at the Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City as part of the Live! at the Eccles series, is a reimagined telling of the saucy but ultimately moving story with a remarkable contemporary score.

The national tour of Shrek the Musical, in all its gassy, green glory, opened at Broadway San Jose and captivated the audience from start to finish. Hilariously funny, heartwarming, and—strangely enough—healing, Shrek the Musical is theater magic at its finest and is a must-see for audiences of all ages, especially kids.

BroadwayWorld talks with Nicholas Hambruch about playing Shrek on tour—including how he got into theater, how he got the part of Shrek (even without knowing the Scottish accent)—and about that time his pants split down the middle live on stage.
