The world premiere of the new play Eight Tales of Pedro will be part of the unFringed Festival at the Secret Theatre. Written by Mark-Eugene Garcia (Standby, Facing East: A New Musical, The Holy Cows of Credence South Dakota), the production is directed by Rodrigo Ernesto Bolanos (Unmissed Connections, The Holy Cows...) and will begin on August 12th and run through the 29th at the Secret Theatre in Long Island City. The story is based on the Spanish tales of Pedro Urdemales and the Puerto Rican tales of Juan Bobo.

Written, produced and performed by Kal Mansoor, and directed by Rick Allen Wilson, A Brief History of Colonization sees a culturally- conflicted British-Indian comedian attempt to make a Hollywood movie about India's colonial past, forcing him to revisit his own and discover the beauty and richness of his heritage, despite what he has been led to believe about it. A Brief History of Colonization will be performed in the Westbeth Artist Community Building (155 Bank Street, corner of Washington Street) in New York's West Village.
