THE CONGRESSWOMAN Opens at New York International Fringe Festival, 10/14

DUCDAME ENSEMBLE is proud to present the premiere of THE CONGRESSWOMEN as part of the New York International Fringe Festival - Fringe NYC. Directed by Shira Milikowsky, THE CONGRESSWOMEN is based on a play by Aristophanes & adapted by Kelly Strandemo, with the Ducdame Ensemble Company. Music Director is Ericka Ross, with Choreography by Andrew Barret Cox, Costume Design by Ashley Rose Horton with Quetzali Gonzalez as Assistant Director. Ducdame Ensemble Founding Member, Michael J. Connolly & fellow LAMDA alumna & Pocket Universe President, Alyssa May Gold, serve as THE CONGRESSWOMEN'S producing team.

Hypokrit Theatre Company and Access Theater present R + J, a female/genderqueer adaptation of Shakespeare's classic Romeo and Juliet. Adapted and directed by Molly Houlahan featuring a diverse cast of 6 women/ gender-nonconforming actors playing all of the roles, previews begin September 27 at Access Theater in Tribeca. Opening is slated for Today, October 4.

Magnet Theater Announces Lineup For 10th Annual New York Musical Improv Festival

Magnet Theater presents The Tenth Annual New York Musical Improv Festival from October 18-21, 2018 at 254 W. 29th Street, ground floor (between 7th and 8th Avenues), NYC. Most tickets are $5-$15 and feature performances by two to four different musical improv acts per show. Festival Workshops are also being offered to people of all levels of experience!
