Dark Operetta FATTY FATTY NO FRIENDS to Make NYMF Debut

Mind The Art Entertainment announces that their New York Innovative Theater Award-nominated original dark operetta Fatty Fatty No Friends will make its New York Musical Festival debut as part of its annual Concert Series.

Created by Mind The Art Entertainment's Artistic Director Christian De Gré with Joseph Reese Anderson and Serrana Gay, Fatty Fatty No Friends is an original contemporary dark operetta about a young boy who is constantly teased for being overweight, is pushed too far, and decides to take horrifically delicious revenge on his bullies. A cautionary fable in the vein of Grimm's Fairy Tales, Fatty Fatty No Friends will hold three concert performances on Wednesday, August 1 at 7:00pm, Thursday August 2 at 9:30pm and Saturday, August 4 at 7:00pm at The Green Room 42 (located at 570 10th Avenue, between 41st and 42nd Streets).

These limited concert performances will feature performances by Eric McKinley, Charly Dannis, Amy Jo Jackson, Jason Eno, Nick Gordon, Gina Naomi Baez, Jessica Kundla, Timothy Fraser, Mary Baron and David J. Wiens. This talented young company will appear under the musical direction of Chris Gurr (Bandstand).
