Showtime Documentary Films today announced the latest project from Academy Award® and Grammy® winner Morgan Neville (Won't You Be My Neighbor, 20 Feet From Stardom): SHANGRI-LA (wt), a docu-series about legendary music producer Rick Rubin that will air on SHOWTIME later this year. A work-in-progress will screen at SXSW in Austin in March. With Rubin's infamous studio in Malibu as the backdrop, SHANGRI-LA pulls back the veil on Rubin and his work with musicians across every genre. The series is an all-access pass into Rubin's creative process, giving viewers a taste of what it's like to be produced by the music world's most singular voice.
